Our Chairman

John Peter Kirubagaran, Chairman

Mr. J.P Kirubagaran is the visionary Founder and Chairman of United International Group of Institutions, which include United International School, United Composite Pre-University College, and United International Business School. With over three decades of passionate service in the field of education, his mission has been to make high-quality, value-based learning accessible to all, especially to students from underserved communities. Under his leadership, United International Group of Institutions have become centers of academic excellence, character formation, and holistic development. He is also the President of SRS - Samyukta Rashtriya Seva, through which he extends his commitment to education, empowerment, and social upliftment. His efforts have earned national recognition, including the Governor’s Award. A firm believer in the transformative power of education, Mr. Kirubagaran continues to inspire a generation of learners and educators across India.

Our Director

Dr. Roopamala Koneri,

Dr. Roopa Koneri currently serves as the Director of United International Business School, bringing with her over four decades of experience in teaching and academic leadership. A seasoned educationist, she has previously held key positions including Principal of New Horizon College of Education and Head of the IGNOU B.Ed. Programme Study Centre. Her expertise spans Educational Psychology, Educational Technology, Guidance and Counseling, and Emotional Intelligence, with a strong foundation in academic administration and teacher education.

Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Koneri has been instrumental in institutional development, including establishing IGNOU study centres and guiding colleges through successful NAAC accreditations. She has also received national and international recognition for her research and scholarly contributions. As a Syndicate and Academic Council member at multiple universities, she continues to influence educational policy and quality standards. At UIBS, she leads with vision and a deep commitment to academic excellence and innovation in business education.

Dr. S Sathya Franklin,
Principal

Dr. S. Sathya Franklin is the Principal of United International Business School, bringing over 20 years of academic experience and a strong commitment to excellence and innovation. He holds an M.Sc., MCA, M.Tech, M.Phil, B.Ed, and a Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction, having secured University ranks in both his M.Sc. and MCA. He was honoured with the Best Teacher Award by Marwadi Education Foundation in 2013. Dr. Franklin has taught a wide range of subjects—including User Interface Design, Artificial Intelligence, Research Methodologies, Advanced Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, and Database Management Systems—and has published extensively in leading journals and conferences. He actively mentors undergraduate and postgraduate students, supports student counselling, and contributes to institutional accreditation processes (ISO, NBA, NAAC). He is also instrumental in organizing workshops and conferences, continuously working to create a dynamic, inclusive, and future-focused academic environment.

Dr Santosh,
Director MBA

Dr. Santhosh Kumar V, BBA, BTh, MBA, MPhil, (MDiv), PhD, serves as the Director of the MBA Department at United International Business School, Bangalore. With over a decade of teaching and research experience, he is known for his engaging lectures, effective classroom management, and innovative use of technology in curriculum delivery and assessment. A certified counsellor and motivational speaker, Dr. Santhosh is deeply committed to student development and academic success. He has published extensively in national and international journals and conferences and is the author of books on Human Resource Management and Marketing. His areas of specialization include Human Resource Management, Marketing, Theology, and Spirituality. Dr. Santhosh is a sought-after resource person, having been invited to speak at numerous workshops, faculty development programs, and seminars. He has also organized and chaired several national and international conferences and led various academic workshops.
